The D|VERSE Sink System featuring the XLERATORsync® Hand Dryer was awarded as a Sustainability Product of the Year at the 2024 BIG Sustainability Awards. This prestigious honor is bestowed to organizations, products, people, and initiatives that have provided sustainability as a core element of their business practices. The D|VERSE Sink System, designed and manufactured by D|13 Group, and featuring Excel Dryer’s XLERATORsync Hand Dryer integrates the elements of proper hand washing and drying in a cohesive 30″ unit. This product eliminates paper towel usage in public restrooms, a major benefit as paper towels rely heavily on the consumption of natural resources as it takes approximately seventeen trees and 20,000 gallons of water to produce just one ton of paper towels.

Excel Dryer’s Healthy Office Oasis Office Renovation project was awarded as a Sustainability Initiative of the Year at the 2024 BIG Sustainability Awards. These awards highlight dedication to environmental responsibility and innovation across the globe. This office renovation was guided by the WELL Building Standard® and rooted in our mission to lead through innovation. It incorporates beauty, health, wellness and sustainability—from a reception desk that limits the introduction of air pollutants to carpet fibers made from recycled fishing nets.

The sink system seamlessly fuses high-efficiency fixtures on the sink deck allowing users to wash, rinse, and dry hands all in one place.

Thoughts Hand Dryer
Excel was able to transfer the art created by the artists from Artists For Humanity (AFH) on to their hand dryer covers. This transformed an industrial commercial product into a piece of art that reflected the mission of AFH, blending functionality and creativity to keep their hands hygienic and clean while being an aesthetically pleasing product for their restrooms.

The ThinAir Hand Dryer with eHEPA Filtration was featured as a finalist for Sustainability Product of the Year at the 2024 BIG Sustainability Awards. This prestigious honor is bestowed to organizations, products, people, and initiatives that have provided sustainability as a core element of their business practices. The ThinAir Hand Dryer with eHEPA filtration provides an ADA-Compliant, eco-friendly, surface-mounted hand drying solution for facilities to install. This product alone provides up to an average 88% decrease in global warming potential versus paper towels, according to Excel Dryer’s recent Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
