1. How many dryers will be needed to satisfy your hand drying needs? (One dryer for every two washbasins is sufficient for most applications…)
2. One drying cycle is 8 seconds for the XLERATOR, 10 seconds for XLERATOReco, 14 seconds for ThinAir and 14 seconds for XLERATORsync. Do you want to assume 1 or 2 cycles for hand drying?
3. The total annual drying time is (in hours):
4. Machines run-on at reduced power for 0.7 seconds after use. Total annual run-on time is (in hours):
5. The annual dryer time (for all dryers) in stand-by mode is then:
6. At what voltage does your dryer run?
7. Energy usage for drying (shown in kWh):
8. Energy usage for run-on (shown in kWh):
9. Energy usage during idle (shown in kWh):
10. Amounts to total annual energy usage of (shown in kWh):
11. What is your kWh energy cost (in $)? (At beginning of 2023 - about $0.20 in Northeast USA, $0.14 in the Midwest, $0.15 in South and $0.18 in the West. In Europe kWh average is €0.25)
12. The annual costs of running the hand dryer
13. What are your annual HEPA filter replacement costs (approximately $200 per filter)?
14. Automatically calculate dryer servicing (we estimate about $200 over the first ten years of use, prorated to $20 per year)? If not, please input your own values.

2. Do you use virgen (white) or recycled (brown) paper towles?
3. The fixed GHG emissions associated with your paper towel drying stations (due to dispenser and wastebin materials and manufacturing, shipping, EOL), prorated annually are (kg CO2eq):
4. Based on your paper towel usage, paper towel production accounts for these annual GHG emissions (kg CO2eq):
5. Annual emissions due to paper towel packaging (kg CO2eq):
6. Annual emissions due to shipping paper towels (kg CO2eq):
7. Annual emissions due to disposing of paper towels (kg CO2eq):

*NOTE: One dryer for every two washbasins is sufficient for most applications. If restroom traffic is unusually heavy, we suggest one dryer per washbasin in small installations, and two dryers for every three washbasins in larger installations. When a 54" round-type washbasin is used, we suggest four to five dryers. In multiple installations, one dryer should be mounted at recommended height to be accessible and compliant with ADA requirements.
