How To Clean Your XLERATOR Hand Dryer
Follow these easy step-by-step instructions on carefully and successfully cleaning the XLERATOR hand dryer. Consider cleaning your dryer twice a year. If in a high-traffic area, you will want to clean your dryer more often.
Step One: Disconnect the power supply to the dryer, usually located in your electrical panel box, and remove your cover.
Step Two: Confirm power is disconnected by checking if there is any voltage at the terminal block.
Step Three: Use a soft, damp cloth or sponge. Wipe away the dirt from the intake area of the dryer cover.
Step Four: For dryers with a pre-filter, the pre-filter can be removed by pulling down on the tab. Wipe away the debris and then rinse with water and dry thoroughly before putting it back on the unit.
Step Five: For older dryers without a pre-filter, use a cloth to clean the sensor and a small soft brush to gently clean the interior.
Step Six: If you are cleaning a unit with a HEPA filter, only clean the HEPA pre-filter.
Now you have successfully cleaned your XLERATOR Hand Dryer.
