East Longmeadow, Mass.– On Sunday, March 16th, viewers of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will meet the Boettcher family of Silver Springs, NV. The father is a small town youth minister who needed help developing a facility for his ministry, which he operates right in his family’s backyard. His dream became a reality with the help of show host Ty Pennington, the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition build team, and the products and building materials donated to the show, which airs on Sunday, March 16 at 8/7 Central.
Among those products is the XLERATOR, a high-speed hand dryer well known by public restroom users around the globe for completely drying hands in 10 seconds. The new youth ministry restrooms will contain XLERATOR hand dryers, which can help the Boettcher family save time and money while keeping their restrooms environmentally friendly and easy to maintain.
“We were pleased to donate our patented XLERATOR hand dryer to a worthwhile cause,” said Denis Gagnon, president of Excel Dryer. “As professionals devoted to ‘greening’ facilities around the world, we deeply respect the goals of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and we enjoyed being a part of the episode.”
The XLERATOR completely dries hands in 10 seconds, versus conventional dryers that take 30 to 45 seconds or longer. XLERATOR completes the job three times faster and uses 80% less energy than traditional hand dryers. XLERATOR delivers a 95% cost savings vs. paper towels and is the first hand dryer to achieve GreenSpec® listing. It also helps facilities qualify for LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) credits by the U.S. Green Building Council. XLERATOR dryers can help facility managers save thousands annually by eliminating the need for paper towel dispensers and their maintenance.
Currently, XLERATOR is installed in a variety of busy, high traffic restrooms, including some high-profile destinations such as Disney World and the new Wembley Stadium.
